The Main Difference
The main difference between the Xiaomi 1S and Xiaomi Pro 2 is the battery. The battery is, simply put, larger in the Pro 2, meaning it has a greater capacity and can thus cover a greater distance on a single charge (45km as opposed to 30km). This also means the Pro 2 needs a bigger base than the 1S to contain its bigger battery. The overall effect is that the Pro 2 is 1.7kg heavier at 14.2kg (which is actually noticeable because 12.5kg is reasonably heavy in the first instance). The Pro 2 also has more power, meaning it can climb a higher gradient despite the extra weight. Of course, the other consideration of a larger battery is the time needed to charge it.
The Small Differences
The Xiaomi Pro 2 is slightly bigger than the Xiaomi 1S; being a few centimetres longer and taller (when unfolded). Otherwise, the physical differences are negligable and purely aesthetic: as with the original Xiaomi Pro e-scooter, the Pro 2 has a red rim around the front wheel, while the reflectors are red on the on the Xiaomi 1S and yellow on the Xiaomi Pro 2 .
